Design Work

August 2024- Current - Costume Design - 'Into the Woods' - Mountview Academy 

Working alongside director Richard Fitch and set designer Gregor Donnelly on a new interpretation of Sondheim's classic musical, exploring darkness in conjunction with fantasy. 

May – June 2023 – Costume Design – ‘Beauty and the Beast : A Rocked Up Love Story”
Working alongside director Mark Chatterton on a new devised production exploring the classic story of ‘Beauty and the Beast’, exploring themes of identity and what it means to be a ‘Beauty’ and a ‘Beast’ in a contemporary setting.

January 2023 – Costume Design– ‘Sorry for Your Loss’
Costume Designer for a new piece of writing by Marcia Vidal Nolte, staged for two one-off performances at the ‘Kings Head Theatre’ in London.

January – March 2023 – Costume Design – ‘Curtains the Musical’
A new production of Kander and Ebb’ musical, ‘Curtains’. Working as Costume Designer for the musical at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in the Embassy Theatre, alongside director Beth Wilkinson.

October 2022 – Set and Costume Design – ‘The Nose’
A speculative set and costume design project for the Hackney Empire of Dmitri Shostakovich’s opera, ‘The Nose’, working with Opera director Ella Marchment.

March 2022 – Costume Design – ‘Kiss – the Musical’
Working as an assistant designer within a devised context alongside designer Sasha Owen and director Kezziah Serreau, this production explored themes of gender fluidity, race, and individuality within the setting of a nightclub scene.

January 2022 – Costume Design - ‘The Hugging Project’
Working as a costume designer on a dance piece, ‘The Hugging Project’, directed by Scarlett Perdereau, exploring the parallels between nature and man-made structures, finding beauty in an urban landscape.

October 2021 – Set and Costume Design - ‘ZHE: (noun) Undefined’
Creating a Set and Costume Design within a proscenium arch setting for ‘Zhe : (noun) Undefined’, written by Chuck Mike, working alongside director Tonderai Munyevu to bring his true story to the stage.

January 2021-March 2021
Set and Costume Designer for a speculative design project of Chekhov's 'The Cherry Orchard', exploring audience immersion and experience.

August 2024 - Illustrator - Girls Aloud 
Working alongside fashion designer and stylist Rikki Finlay to create illustrations for Girls Aloud ahead of their 2024 Tour.
 
June 2024 - Model Maker - 'Pinocchio' at Stratford East
Working alongside designer Stewart J. Charlesworth in creating model pieces for Stratford East's Christmas Pantomime production of 'Pinocchio'

May 2024 - 3D Rendering and Visualisation - 'Pinocchio' at Stratford East 
Working alongside designer Stewart J. Charlesworth in creating initial 3D renderings and drawings for Stratford East's Christmas Pantomime production of 'Pinocchio'

September 2023 – Assistant Designer and Model Maker – ‘The Devil Wears Prada’
Working alongside designer Tim Hatley and associate designer Ross Edwards as a model maker and assistant during the white card development of new musical ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ at the Dominion Theatre.

September 2023 – Assistant Designer and Model Maker – ‘Starlight Express’
Working alongside designer Tim Hatley and associate designer Ross Edwards as a model maker and assistant during the developmental stage of the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s ‘Starlight Express’ at the Troubadour Theatre.

March – April 2023 – Assistant and Model Maker – ‘Back to the Future’ - Broadway
Working alongside designer Tim Hatley and associate designer Ross Edwards as a model maker for the Broadway adaptation of ‘Back to the Future’ the musical on Broadway.

April – August 2023 – Costume Intern / Dresser – Apple TV ‘Slow Horses’
Working alongside designer Guy Speranza and costume supervisor Georgina Gunner on the third and fourth series of Apple TV’s ‘Slow Horses’, starring Gary Oldman and Jonathan Pryce. Working across disciplines, from crowd and principle costuming, breakdown processes and on-set experience.

April 2023 – Associate and Costume Intern – ‘Mamma Mia: I Have a Dream’
Working alongside designer Tom Rogers and the styling team as a wardrobe assistant on a televised competition, looking for a new casting of Sky and Sophie in the West End production of ‘Mamma Mia – the Musical’, experiencing the sourcing, fitting and production process within a filmed environment.

April – June 2023 – Costume Assistant / Dresser – ‘Britain’s Got Talent – Series 16’
Working as an assistant and wardrobe intern alongside designers Tom Rogers and Simon Wells on the ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ costume team during the sourcing, researching and fittings process, as well as gaining experience in on-set live television processes, including dressing.

April 2023 – Research Assistant and Assistant Designer– ‘Sister Act – the Musical’
Working as an assistant to designer Simon Wells on a new production of ‘Sister Act – the Musical’ for the New Theatre in Copenhagen during the initial development stage of the design, including script breakdown, research and initial mood-boarding.
